Functional Heart and Circulatory System
The Heart and Circulatory System is a working replica of the human heart and circulatory system. The model provides a complete schematic view of the human circulatory system with blood (coloured water), which flows through the life like transparent veins, arteries, capillaries and heart chambers.
The model shows venous blood, a deep reddish purple and arterial blood and a bright red, to provide visual reinforcement to the oxygenation and deoxygenation of hemoglobin during it’s way through the body’s vascular network.
The Functional Heart and Circulatory System Model comes mounted on a baseboard with support legs and includes a teacher's guide, red dye and a syringe for refilling the system.
